35th Annual Awards Gala: Silent Auction

Dear Friend,

The T.J. Martell Foundation has played a vital role in funding innovative research for the treatment and cures of leukemia, cancer and AIDS.  Unfortunately, more and more people are affected by one of these diseases either personally, or through a relative or friend.

Each year, the T.J. Martell Foundation brings together 1,100 of the nation’s top executives from the worlds of music, entertainment, and many other fields for our signature Annual Awards Gala. Over the past thirty-five years, we’ve honored many prominent individuals for their achievements as well as their commitment and leadership to helping others.   

The event will be held on Wednesday, October 27th at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. This year, the T.J. Martell Foundation is proud to present the Humanitarian of the Year Awards to brothers Monte and Avery Lipman,  President & CEO of Universal Republic Records and Co-President & COO of Universal Republic Records respectively; the Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award to Kenny Loggins; the Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award to the iconic Charlie Daniels and the Lifetime Scientific Achievement Award to Harold L. Moses, MD, Director Emeritus of Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. Our entertainment for the evening will feature fantastic musical performances from very special guests including Enrique Iglesias and Colbie Caillat! In the past, our Gala performers have included; Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Boyz II Men, Tony Bennett, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige, Norah Jones, John Legend, Big & Rich, Michael McDonald, Willie Nelson, Wynton Marsalis, Gavin DeGraw, Delta Goodrem, Brian McKnight and Justin Timberlake!

Once again, we are working with our friends from Continental Airlines to make our auction another success. The auction is a huge focal point at the event and it is talked about for months after because of the wonderful items we feature. This year, we’ve decided to make the auction smaller and more exclusive, offering up only spectacular, truly unique items. An item like yours would make the perfect auction item and would garner much attention, let alone plenty of high bids all which fund our cancer research at eight funded medical facilities nationwide.

We are anticipating a huge turn-out for this event with amazing media opportunities, not to mention the high-rollers of all industries attending.
